Mondragon Assembly Breaks Record in Its Solidarity Sports Challenge: Over 52,000 km Covered

Once again, Mondragon Assembly has shown that commitment, collective effort, and solidarity are fundamental pillars of its corporate culture. In the fourth edition of its sports challenge, employees from all subsidiaries and commercial offices joined forces with a common goal: to exceed 40,000 km. The result was spectacular: more than 52,000 km covered across all types of sports!

This challenge not only promotes physical activity and team spirit but also fosters solidarity, as the winning subsidiaries receive financial prizes that are entirely donated to non-profit organizations of their choice.

Winning Subsidiaries and Their Solidarity Contributions

This year, the Americana subsidiary in Brazil took first place, earning a prize of €5,000, which was donated to SESPA, an organization that promotes human development in the local community through service, coexistence, and strengthening of social bonds. Its work focuses on prevention, strengthening family ties, and defending human rights, providing support to vulnerable families, including children and the elderly.

The Aretxabaleta subsidiary came in second, receiving a prize of €3,000, which was donated to AFAGI, an association dedicated to supporting people with Alzheimer’s and their families. Through this contribution, Mondragon Assembly reaffirms its commitment to local causes that generate a positive impact in the community.

Once again, this sports challenge has been much more than just a competition: it has been a demonstration of unity, perseverance, and solidarity that transcends borders.
